Review of The Shop Around the Corner (1940) by Jason H — 22 Jan 2008
This is a classic film, with great care put into it's adapatation. The movie was remade into a musical first, and then became "You've got mail", which sucked. This movie is thoughtful, and heartfelt.
It's a great romance story, and it's well-made. It's classic Hollywood in the 40's, what more could you ask for?
