Review of The Shop Around the Corner (1940) by Jacqueline F — 06 Aug 2007
This is a sweet, romantic movie set in Budapest (!) about two co-workers who don't realize they are each others' secret pen pal. Very sweet, and James Stewart is a great leading man. My only quibble is the setting - are we supposed to believe that James Stewart is Hungarian? Everyone either sounded British or American.
I had a hard time swallowing the accents.
