Review of The Shining (1980) by Zac C — 31 Mar 2014
Best damn horror film of all time. Forget King's novel. This film is the best version, no question. This film is meant to be watched forwards and backwards and interlaced. This film has so much power and meaning.
And none of Stephen King's slow, dull, over detailed explanations of uninteresting subject matter. Kubrick over details things, but interesting things, you know, that are important to the story? Take notes Stephen King, this is how you do horror!
