Review of The Sheepman (1958) by Greg W — 26 Feb 2013
Sheep rancher Glenn Ford feuds with evil cattle rancher Leslie Nielsen. Shirley MacLaine is the cowgirl love interest they're also battling over, in this rather uneven mix of western action and bits of comedy.
There's a good supporting cast of western regulars, including Slim Pickens, Edgar Buchanan and Pedro Gonzalez Gonzalez, which also helps. It's not the greatest western, but the cast makes it worth watching, particularly seeing Ford do a little bit of comedy.
