Review of The Shawshank Redemption (1994) by Tait W — 16 Aug 2013
I want to state that as much as I enjoy this film, I do not consider it "The Greatest Movie Ever Made" by any means. The story is well thought out and has a lot of tragic and often times depressing parts.
The characters are really great and the actors that played the roles did a superb job. It's a well scripted, acted, and shot out movie with an excellent ending and is overall really good, but isn't to the point where I would call it "The Great Movie Ever Made" in my opinion.
