Unfortunatelly, I have seen only the dubbed version of the film.
It is a thrilling story of friendship, of hope, of wisdom...
What fascinated me most was the abundance of humanity in some prisoners (well, especially in Andy (who was also exceptionally intelligent and exceptionally honest)) and lack of humanity in the management of the prison (well, I did hated the director!).
