The critic reviews and worldwide love for this film speaks for itself. It is a masterpiece of hope, friendship and the strength of the human spirit. In my opinion The Shawshank Redemption is the greatest film ever made, at least, in comparison to all the films I have ever watched.
I never say never but no film has ever made me feel so uplifted and touched, as I felt after the first time I watched this film. And that feeling is there, still, after multiple viewings of this perfectly scored movie.
If you have not seen it, firstly where the hell have you been and secondly, go watch it, right now.
