Review of The Shawshank Redemption (1994) by Johnny R — 19 Dec 2013

Oh my gosh, what an incredible masterpiece!! It was extremely intense, uplifting, engaging, satisfying, and genius!! The movie was amazingly well-crafted and twisty that if you look away from the screen for even a second, you would regret it, if you couldn't rewind it at that exact moment!! The acting was absolutely magnificent!! Tim Robbins was so outstanding that you felt his character's anger and intensity throughout the entire film!! Morgan Freeman was so fantastic that you felt his character's integrity the whole time!! Robbins and Freeman had amazing chemistry together that you felt that they were like brothers!! They are one of the best duos in movies ever!! The director (Frank Darabont) was terrific and his direction got the audiences attention right from the very beginning to the end!! This is the best prison movie ever and one of the best films of all-time!! It is obviously a must-see!!
