One of the most underrated movies, yet one of the greatest ever created. Definitely should of won best picture in 1994 instead of the overrated Forrest Gump. Amazing movie about an innocent man who is thrown into prison but never loses hope.
Andy was an incredible example of an everlasting human spirit. Red was also an amazing character of an institutionalized man who finally finds hope when he befriends Andy. Amazing performances and outstanding screenplay.
Hope IS a good thing.
