The Shawshank Redemption is one of the most engaging and powerful movies I have ever seen. You fall into this story because it's so compelling, and you really so care for the protagonists. The acting is great all around, a stand out being Morgan Freeman.
The dialogue is interesting and the characters are all memorable. The ending is extremely clever, with an interesting twist and an emotionally powerful and satisfying conclusion. There's nothing to complain about, it's perfectly made and unforgettable.
