Review of The Shawshank Redemption (1994) by David K — 16 Feb 2015
Dare I say this is one of the best movies ever made. "Hope is a dangerous thing..." But hope is all Andy has when he is wrongly sentenced to serve life in a penitentiary in the 1930's. Superbly narrated by Morgan Freeman who plays Andy's best friend in prison.
The story is engaging, interesting and inspiring. It is this reviewer's favorite movie of all time.
