Review of The Shawshank Redemption (1994) by Magical W — 10 Jun 2016

I honestly didn't expect much out of this movie. Yeah, whatever, kill me for it but I didn't think this would be anything remarkable. I never would have guessed how amazing this movie is. The performances are out of this world, the story is intriguing, uplifting, and horribly sad at times, no character feels unnecessary or poorly portrayed, it just feels like this movie does everything right.

It's rare we get a movie this good, so if you haven't seen it, watch is as soon as possible because you won't regret it.
