Review of The Shawshank Redemption (1994) by Adam M — 07 Aug 2018
In my eyes, The Shawshank Redemption is the greatest film of all time, hands down. Amazing performances from the entire cast, great cinematography from Roger Deakins, and spectacular directing from Frank Darabont.
Surprisingly, this movie did not win the Academy Award for Best Picture. It lost to Forrest Gump. I believe that this film should've won over that. Overall, The Shawshank Redemption is one of the greatest films ever made and should be seen by everybody.
