Review of The Shape of Water (2017) by Man W — 05 Mar 2018
If Racism could be made into motion art, then this movie deserves an Oscar. Amazing acting, except for the stereotypical bad guy. Reference that "she" was found by the river and already had dormant gills.
The "wetback" from South American who does not belong. The balding white guy who repentantly has to step in to save the day, and the Russian who has the best of intentions... Everyone gets to live happily ever after.
.. but only after the first generation wetback goes back to her own kind, the real wetback from SA, and they both leave the country... Oh, the the poor suffering housewife, who nobody cares about, and the dead white patriot who was doing his best to protect his country.
