A charming and really beautiful entry from Del Toro. The relationship between the characters of Hawkins and Jenkins is crazy cute. Their apartment above the movie theater colorful like so many of Del Toro's palettes.
Michael Shannon busts out the old sexually repressed old timey dad shtick yet again and does so rather well.
