Really enjoyed this film. I wouldn't rate it as high as "Pan's Labyrinth," which is my favorite 21st-century film, but it is deserving of the high praise it's being given. Guillermo del Toro's approach is always imaginative and smart.
Mostly great writing. Mostly great acting. Fantastic imagery. Not for everybody. My 15-year-old twins liked it but it wasn't their thing.
