60 Second Review: THE SHAPE OF WATER (Best Picture of the Year? No way!) In the latest remake of "Beauty and The Beast", the role of the beast is played by.... the Creature from the Black Lagoon! Yes! Of course it's just an actor wearing a black rubber suit and a black mask.
But did you know (Spoiler Alert!) that the actor in the black rubber suit is none other than Meryl Streep! Yes, once again Meryl proves that she is the ONLY actress in Hollywood that has the range to play so many great roles! She gives one of her greatest performances as the male aquatic creature, speaking memorable lines such as, "Rrrrggghhhh" and "Arrrrrghhh!!" You will be moved to tears.
Also - (Second Spoiler Alert!) be warned that the homely cleaning lady "goes ALL the way" with this Fabio with fins!! Not a movie for the kiddies!
