Review of The Shape of Things (2003) by Sean C — 03 Apr 2009
I like how with every Neil LaBute movie, he shows how horrible every type of group can be. I also think people misunderstood the script. The dialogue between Gretchen Mol and Paul Rudd was supposed to be corny.
I like how elements of comedy were shown and then, while you were into the comedic strain, something really mean will happen to keep you off balance. Fred Weller was really good here. His delivery was hilarious.
