Until around 10 minutes from the end, the movie is a pleasant comedy/romance (not a typical brainless rom com though!) - but then the sledgehammer is striking. It'll shock you, make you feel sick, it'll get you thinking.
Great movie, up there with 'Closer' in the relationship mindfuck genre.
