[It's] gorgeous to look at, and Lively does a solid job carrying the film -- despite the plot's conveniences and B-movie contrivances, [the result] is summer flick that is tense, gripping, and triumphant in delivering effective Pop Corn thrills (that most of this summer's blockbusters haven't been able to do).
