Review of The Shallows (2016) by Davidtejada — 12 Apr 2017

Combining "Jaws" and Columbia's inspiration, "The Shallows" does not offer anything (or at least almost). Just a teenager who had family problems and went to the beach to have some fun.

I don't see that such a great horror movie, besides it doesn't have anything in resources to make audiences feel scared. The scenes are so slow, the plot is not convincing and there are no characters who are well-performed (except from Blake Lively as Nancy) Don't get me wrong, this is barely fun in some parts, but still it has many deficits.

So, if you want a great shark-horror movie, then you should see "Jaws" again.
