Not really sure how this movie will fair over the course of time. It doesn't have much staying power, but it was entertaining. 'The Shallows' tries to mix the suspense of 'Jaws' with some of the style and thematic elements of '127 Hours'; all to varying degrees of success.
Blake Lively is a treat as always. I can recommend 'The Shallows' if you have nothing else to watch. It's perfectly fine summer movie entertainment.
