Review of The Shaggy Dog (2006) by Kevin S — 27 May 2013
A workaholic attorney gets bitten by a dog that's being tested in a lab. This lab is mutating other animals cruelly. The attorney then transforms into the dog and while being the dog learns how to be a better father and learns he needs to change and be there for his kids.
He must learn what this lab is up to and stop it and get back to his family as a human. The whole idea of someone turning into a dog is kinda lame and there is some cheesiness to this movie but I thought Tim Allen turned it around with well executed humor.
I am not a big fan of Robert downey jr. but he proved he can be entertaining as a cruel but at tines funny villain. There is a lot to be desired with the plot but when it comes down to it this is a funny and entertaining family movie.
