Review of The Shadow Strikes (1937) by Bog Man , — 07 Apr 2008
If you though the Baldwin version was bad, this is a desecration of a classic pulp character. The Shadow this ain't, this "Cranston" is a pudgy middle aged amateur sleuth who unravels what has to be the most boring plot in human history.
Glacially slow, mindlessly yacky, and bland as a bowl of oatmeal.
