The movie "The Shack" is overtly religious, drenched in Christian imagery, and explicit in its theodicy. However, it's the best, most relevant, most contemporary, most authentically Christian theodicy you are ever likely to see in the form of a movie.
If religion and in particular a dream-like argument justifying a belief in an authentically Christian God does not interest you, avoid this movie - but if it does interest you, please see it and expect to be richly rewarded.
