Review of The Shack (2017) by Mason N — 14 Mar 2017
I consider myself pretty critical of most movies I watch. With that said, I thought The Shack definitely did the book justice. They hit all of the major points and themes. I did not care for the fact that Mack was not portrayed as an average guy, but instead a much more handsome person.
Not really a deal breaker. I really could relate to his strife as a father of a young girl. I have not cried in about 10 years, but this movie honestly pulled some tears. Certainly worth watching. I wish I could be more objective here, but I just loved this movie.
The actors really pulled together some very peculiar situations wih stride.
