Review of The Shack (2017) by Lucy V — 02 Jun 2017
Emotional movie that explores the heart of God in the midst of suffering. Mack, consumed by different aspects of grief (sadness, withdrawal, anger, hurt) asks the same questions that we all have: how can an all-powerful God who claims to love us allow unspeakable tragedy and evil? The portrayal of the Trinity is refreshing and breaks the stereotype of a blue-eyed Jesus with long hair.
