Review of The Shack (2017) by Andrew S — 28 Sep 2017
The movie felt like an extended on-screen counseling session that seemed to drag at points. It was an overall noble attempt at handling complex theology that did better than what I expected, but fell short of what I hoped for.
There's also a certain difficulty associated with casting God. For example, Mack says he gets along with Jesus best out of the Trinity, but I sensed the least chemistry between the actors/characters.
