Review of The Shack (2017) by Ethan A — 16 May 2017
Best movie of the year in my opinion. Best movie experience I've had in a decade. The film is open heart surgery, make no mistake...it looks into the worst elements of humanity and sees how terrible things can happen to the best of us.
Psychologically, it was fascinating to see how this guy was beating himself up constantly for his imperfection, and then to see his character arc...in short, I LOVE this movie. It may seem cheesy to some, but only because it asks you to go along with it.
If you don't -- it won't make sense at all. But if you do...you're in for a one of a kind, immersive and above all...SATISFYING answer to all those questions you feared to ask.
