Review of The Seven Year Itch (1955) by Hunter D — 24 Jul 2011
Marilyn Monroe is as radiant as ever in this Billy Wilder comedy, the thing in the movie that makes me crazy is Tom Ewell, who spends most of the movie ranting and raving by himself, confusing fantasy and reality in a manner that induces more facepalms than actual laughs.
THE SEVEN YEAR ITCH is a culturally iconic movie, but I'd just love to shoot Ewell, and just spend the movie with Monroe.
