Review of The Seven Year Itch (1955) by Eric R — 16 Mar 2012
Charming, elegant and relentlessly entertaining, this classic Hollywood comedy is a must-see for movie-lovers everywhere. Marilyn Monroe gives the most memorable performance of her career and Tom Ewell's zany hypochondriac husband provides laugh-a-minute fun throughout the film's entire duration.
Thanks to Billy Wilder's immaculate direction and George Axelrod's fantastic screenplay, 'The Seven Year Itch' is considered by many as one of the best American comedies of all time and will live on in our hearts for years to come.
Quintessential Marilyn with plenty of laughs.
