Review of The Sessions (2012) by Fong K — 26 Jan 2013
A sex dramedy that made us relook sex and the disabled in a more optimistic perspective. It is also feel-good and very life-affirming when we see a man confined to only moving his head (he is journalist and poet Mark O'Brien who has the worst form of polio) is able to love life and three women, whom all love him back.
John Hawkes and Helen Hunt gave their bravest and most brilliant performances.
