Review of The Sessions (2012) by Edward C — 27 Jan 2013
I cannot recommend "The Sessions" MORE. I laughed, I smiled, I emoted for the pair of joyfully touching performances from Helen Hunt baring all as a sex surrogate, and certainly John Hawkes who played a polio-suffering poet wanting to lose his virginity.
Based on a true story and sensually scripted, "The Sessions" is one beautiful gem that is generously thoughtful and remarkably mature.
