Review of The Sessions (2012) by Sara W — 24 Feb 2013
Lewin and company treat O'brien's story with respect by blending, like his story, comedy and dramatic atmosphere and not shying away from an often taboo subject of disability, loneliness and sex.
Hawkes gives it his all and Macy is delightful, while Hunt's role seems inconsequential. Not my thing usually, but there is a lot of heart here. Final First time rating: 6.2/10.
