I know no one else was ever going to win Best Actor other than Daniel Day-Lewis since pretty much the first picture of him as Lincoln was released... but John Hawkes couldn't even get a nomination? I'm just blown away.
Both by the snub & his performance here. Wow. At least Helen Hunt was nominated! I've always been a fan, but after watching this I have so much respect for her... her confidence in the nude scenes is inspiring.
Really everyone is great here. Oh & I sobbed. SOBBED... like a blubbering mess.
