Review of The Sessions (2012) by Dave F — 08 Apr 2013
An extraordinary film not to be missed. The writing and directing by Ben Lewin take just the right tone and touch. It's not a sentimental film, its a film made with heartfelt sentiment. John Hawkes is superb as are the rest of the cast.
The actor that moves this film to the next level, however, is Helen Hunt; whose courageous and stunning performance deserved the Oscar for which she was nominated.
