Decent Wes Craven film about a Harvard researcher (Bill Pullman in one of his many bland roles) that travels to Haiti to obtain some special voodoo powder that has the ability to make one look dead for a couple of weeks.

There are some really interesting things about this film, and Craven goes the extra mile by making it pretty authentic with the locations and culture, but the film drags far too much, with the exception of the pretty action-packed climax of the film.

I admire Craven for going into different horror territory and making such a unique film, but overall, it was pretty boring.
