Review of The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988) by Erin K — 01 Dec 2008

I hadn't seen this movie in a really long while, but decided to give it another viewing as my wife had never seen it. As far as Craven movies go, I think it's actually one of his better films. It's not particularly frightening, but it has a very interesting story and a very bizarre, unsettling tone that I enjoyed.

Some people complain that the film is a bit slow, I guess that's true, but I didn't catch that, and normally I have horrible ADD when it comes to movies.
