Review of The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988) by Forrest K — 16 Oct 2010
A very creepy, surreal zombie flick that takes the legend back to its roots in Haitian voodoo. It's a slow-burning movie, but the pace is entrancing, and the creepy atmosphere and gritty effects pull you in to the story of a man out of his depth in an essentially alien world.
