Review of The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988) by Scott D — 21 Feb 2011

I must saw I was suprised that when I saw this because the idea behind it was interesting and the fact that it was a true story scored automatic points with me but then when I saw it it was a serious mind fuck of the psyche and made me question the very idea of what is actually possible and what may already be our reality when in retrospect we have always thought of zombies to something of absolute fiction.

.. like I said it made me question as well as being intrigued by the aspects of black magic were involved. the film for its time was done fairly well and I must say im very much for the idea of this film to be remade for our time but not removing any black magic/voodoo/witchcraft aspects for its what made this movie very unique.
