Review of The September Issue (2009) by Trevor T — 11 Oct 2009
The documentary of the misunderstood Anna Wintour, and amazing yearly birth of September Issue, in this case 2007 September Issue of Vogue. This documentary gave us a glimpse into the life of The Editor In Chief of Vogue.
She is politically incorrect, an introvert in nature, confident, and extremely talented. Her decisiveness and forward thinking made Vogue the bible of the 300 billion dollars industry. Equally interesting, I got good views of the amazing people who worked for Anna, i.
E. Grace Coddington, who views fashion as a fantasy and a romantic at heart. Grace had produced numerous brilliant photo shoots for Vogue. However, I still have no idea how Andre Leon Talley's role plays a critical part in Vogue.
The documentary and wikipedia did not mention much about his contribution to Vogue =) A four stars.
