Review of The September Issue (2009) by Nina B — 08 Feb 2010

I watched this after seeing The Devil Wears Prada expecting to see the fiersome Anna Wintour, actually she came across as quite a likably person, nothing like as bad as portrayed in the film. It was an interesting insight into the world of the fashion industry.

The star of the documentry has to be not Wintour but Grace the Creative Director who sill has the old fashiond ethic of what a fashion magazing should be, rather than pandering to the celebritys. Her work was fantastic and I'm glad that in the end she got the credit that her work deserved.
