Review of The September Issue (2009) by Marcus W — 15 Mar 2010
A highly interesting documentary, which gives you a rare glimpse of what goes on behind-the-scenes in one of the biggest fashion's magazines in the world.
The film revolves around the making of the most important Vogue issue of the year: The September Issue.
It shows everything from the world's famous' designers contributing to the issue, to the problems Wintour and her editors' team get into while making it. Through the film, one can clearly see how much work has to be put into all of it, in order to make it work. In addition, the audience also gets an exclusive look at the life of the most important person in the magazine, if not the whole world of high fashion, Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
A must-see for anyone even slightly interested in fashion.
