Review of The September Issue (2009) by Kamelie Z — 12 Apr 2010
R.J. Cutler's winning documentary, "The September Issue", is a revealing behind the scenes look at the making of the biggest and most influential fashion magazine- Vogue's September issue.
While the film gives us a revealing look at the personal life of Anna Wintour, the magazine's legendary and iconic editor-in-chief, we also get to see what kind of blood, sweat and tears come out of her team to assemble the issue.
It's a witty film with plenty of fashion to dazzle the eyes and enough access to be more than fascinating. It's a breezy, well made and all around enjoyable documentary.
