Review of The Sentinel (2006) by Bryce D — 22 Feb 2008
This movie is basically a condensed version of season 1 of 24 but with completely uninspired dialog, no ticking clots and about 10% the action. The main difference is that this time Agent Jack Bauer gets to be the guy chasing down the super-star government agent who's been framed for being involved in a plot to assassinate the president. But it's not all boring, you get to watch a hot make-out scene with 60 year old sexy super-star Micheal Douglas and Bassinger that almost does a good job of hiding her disgust.
***Spoilers***.
The one thing that could've made this movie good, ie finding out that the mole really was one of the heroes or something, was passed up for making it completely obvious by using actor Anthony 'Chip' Brienza who plays the bad guy in 12 monkeys and pretty much just has a bad guy vibe to him. Called it the second I saw him.
