Review of The Sentinel (2006) by Seher K — 01 Jun 2008
This movie gives a cool (albeit fictional) glimpse iside the life of the secret service and the White House. That lasts about 45 minutes. Once a solid premise develops, a hollow, predictable story unfolds with predictable Hollywood glitz like a forced soundtrack, laughable script and bad guys from a fictional country that sounds like a former Soviet Republic.
Michale Douglas is a good actor and there is one memorable scene where he and Jack Bauer... err..Kiefer Sutherland go mano y mano. The aerial shots of D.C. are appreciated, but the last hour is painful.
