Review of The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising (2007) by Thom M — 26 May 2008
In a time saturated with fantasy movies this one keeps its head above water to make it exicting and scary for pre-teens. The lead boy, Will, isn't that inspiring but it kept my 8, 6 and 3 year old boys on the edge of their seats.
It is set in England with an American family so it felt quite close to home. My boys were talking about it for days afterwards and it kept me entertained too.
