The Seeker was a disappointment. The trailer looked very promising but nope, the story didn't live up to the short clips. Compared to other children's book adaptations, this one was definitely lacking dimensions. Yes, yes, taking on a challenge is brave, blah blah blah.. they hammer that over and over without much more development other than repeating the words.
Pass on rental. I hope the book was much better.
