Why waste money to produce a movie like this? The Seeker has all the right elements of a boring children fantasy movie: energy lacking, visually bland, faceless peers of the protagonist and above all, predictability.
There is not a moment of doubt that the warrior will be in danger or fails to obtain the sign. Nowadays movies with theme on dark verses light are as common as the birds' droppings on my rooftop. The screenwriter has to step up, to give it a sense of fun and to connect the audience with its characters.
The formula is that simple. Seek no further.
