First of all remember the target audience...children.
Far too many critics have complained about its lack of depth.
They should take their kids to watch momento or something and spend the whole movie trying to explain the plot. Films for children are DELIBERATELY short on complexity.
I found the film to be entertaining with some good solid performances.
Not a film to invite all your friends around to watch over a few beers. More like a film to keep the pesky kids quiet to on a sunday :-).
The critics need to learn the art of CRITIQUE.
